Organic-inorganic hybrid heterogeneous nanocatalyst systems were synthesized by covalent anchoring of oxodiperoxomolybdenum complexes [(L-L)MoO(O-2)(2)] on silica coated magnetic nanoparticles as an active, magnetically separable epoxidation catalyst.
