Photoamidation of electron-poor olefins has been achieved by means of a radical-induced C-H functionalization in amides. Tetrabutylammonium decatungstate was used as photocatalyst of the reaction and allowed the smooth generation of different carbon-centered radicals depending on the amide structure.
