CdSeS/CdS/ZnS quantum dot thin films subjected to ZnO atomic layer deposition at 100 degrees C shows photoluminescence (PL) modulation. The PL is quenched during each exposure to diethyl zinc. However, the PL is restored upon subsequent exposure to water.
