Magnetic Properties of an S=2 Ladder Spin Model Applied to a New Quasi-One-Dimensional Magnet [Mn(phen)3](TCNQ)2•H2O

The effective spin S = 2 Heisenherg ladder model with free-spin admixtures was proposed for the study of the low-temperature magnetic properties of the complex compound [Mn(phen)(3)](TCNQ)(2)center dot H2O. The temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility was found to be close to experimental data.
