Rietveld refinement of different structural models using neutron diffraction data for a series of powders of lead zirconate titanate, PbZr1 - xTixO3 (PZT), is described. It is found that at all the compositions and temperatures studied the best results include contributions from more than one phase in order to fit the data. Consequently a new phase diagram is proposed.
