Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms in a closely packed honeycomb lattice. As a new class of two-dimensional nanostructures, graphene has attracted considerable attention from the experimental and theoretical aspects in recent years. The unique nanostructure and property endue graphene with potential applications ranging. from capacitors, cell images, sensors, devices, drug delivery, and solar cell. This review presents a general description of the preparation route for graphene and its composite in the last few years. The new developments and improvements of its electrochemical application in inorganic substance analysis, organics analysis, immunoassay and other electrochemical fields are also discussed.
