Two isostructural 3D complexes [ Mn(L)(N3) center dot MeOH] n (1) and [ Mn(L)(HCO2) center dot MeOH] n (2) (HL = pyrazine-2carboxylic acid) were synthesized by using a solvothermal method. Magnetic studies indicate that 1 was a strong antiferromagnet, whereas 2 was a weak antiferromagnet with TN 38.5 K.
