Sodium insertion is investigated in sub-micron particles of FePO4 prepared in the olivine structure by chemical delithiation of synthetic LiFePO4 by the bromide route. The electrochemical activity in Na cell is investigated using NaPF6-EC-DEC electrolyte. The structure and composition of the electrode is analyzed as a function of the cell potential by means of XRD, SEM and EDX experiments.
