In order to prepare the highlight luminescent material, we synthesized a highlight blue luminescent material, salicylaldehyde-4, 4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone Mg (II), by the reaction of Magnesium chloride hexahydrate with salicylaldehyde-4, 4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone. The results indicate that the maximum fluorescence emissions of Mg (II) complex material are at 459 nm (in solid), 466 nm (in DMSO), 476 nm (in CH3OH) and 464 nm (in CH3CH2OH), respectively. The Mg (II) material exhibits the strongest fluorescence in solid than that in DMSO, CH3OH and CH3CH2OH solution.
