The influence of pulsed current on the deformability and microhardness of large-grain VT1-0, VT6, and TiNi titanium alloys is considered. Electroplastic rolling is shown to reduce the strain hardening of the alloys and to increase the deformability of VT6 and TiNi alloys. The alloy deformability increases with increase in current density and pulse length. The proposed method may be used to produce long titanium components with a thin cross section.
