Paper present a wireless acoustic emission sensor device with microcontroller for monitoring systems of structures under stress, prevailed by a piezoelectric AE sensor, fixed on the material surface by a electroacoustic medium. The module performs the analogue to digital conversion of signals, the microcontroller command the wireless interface, may send and receive information by other emitting - receiver wireless modules. The microcontroller could vary the amplifier gain and make the appropriate analogue - digital conversion. Important to the application is that several wireless modules, fixed on different structures could be part of complex AE monitoring systems.
