Soils contaminated with CuSO4 center dot 5H(2)O in dose of 80 mg or 920 mg/kg of soil as well as without pollutions were used for growing Paulownia elongata x fortunei (vase cultivation). The content of absorbable forms of Cu was detd. before planting trees and after 3 month for each contaminated soil. The cultivation of Paulownia on the soil with the highest Cu content resulted a significant redn. of the content of absorbable Cu forms occurring in the tested soil.
