A note on the two papers of Mostafa M. A. Khater et al. and Dianchen Lu et al. [Optik, 158 (2018) 434-450 and 164 (2018) 54-64]

In this note, we show by simple calculation that the new auxiliary equation method (Khater method) used in the above two papers is absolutely wrong. Consequently, all the exact solutions of the proposed nonlinear equations obtained in the above two papers are not true.
