This paper proposes patch array antennas based on graphene with plasmonic characteristics in THz application. Here, the proposed structure is based on two graphene rectangular patch elements in horizontal plane which presents behavior of Surface Plasmon Polariton (SPP) waves. Also, analyzing the graphene characteristics are studied in details. The numerical simulations with CST, Computer Simulation Technology transient solver, and COMSOL are presented in array antenna structure. The efficiency is improved by using array antenna and also by increasing the graphene layers. Parametric study method is used to achieve desired tunable low terahertz band communication.
