The effects of kneading conditions and additives on the dispersion of BaTiO3 ceramic fillers, which affects the dielectric constant epsilon of BaTiO3/poly-L-lactic-acid composites, were investigated. The average dielectric constant of the composite material increased with increasing quantity of BaTiO3 powder. Scanning electron microscope images showed that the dielectric constant increased as the average secondary particle area of the BaTiO3 filler aggregate increased. (C) 2018 Elsevier B.V.
