Multi-component Mannich reactions between 2-fluoro-ethylacetoacetate or dimethyl-2-fluoromalonate ester, aldehyde and amine components allowing convenient synthesis of beta-fluoro(dicarbonyl)ethylamine systems using both batch and continuous flow techniques are reported.
