The properties of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics Ba0.95Ca0.05TiO3 produced using standard ceramic technology were studied. The temperature dependences of the permittivity and tangent of the dielectric loss angle at the frequencies of 100 and 1000 Hz, the amplitude dependences of the effective permittivity epsilon'(eff)(E), and the effective dielectric losses epsilon ''(eff)(E) were measured. The temperature dependences of the maximum polarization at various amplitudes of the applied field and temperature dependences of the residual polarization below the Curie-Weiss temperature were obtained. The results were discussed.
