We report on systematic study of multi-walled carbon nanotubes dispersing in aqueous medium, assisted by wrapping with poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone. We have prepared stable dispersions of multi-walled nanotubes via a gentle procedure avoiding the nanotubes breakage upon dispersion. Concentration of the nanotubes in the stable dispersions can be fairly high, depending on the initial mixture composition and the inherited physical properties, in particular, on viscosity. The best dispersion conditions have been elaborated.
