1D mesoporous NaTi2(PO4)(3)/carbon nanofiber (1D-NaTi2(PO4)(3)/C) has been successfully fabricated through a simple electrospinning method followed by a two-step calcination. The 1D-NaTi2(PO4)(3)/C composite displays high capacity and excellent rate performance when evaluated as anode for energy storage. It shows a specific capacity of 126.7 mAh g(-1) at 0.2 C. Moreover, a capacity of 93.4 mAh g(-1) can still be achieved at 10 C. This work presents a novel strategy for designing and fabricating the one-dimensional mesoporous electrodes to achieve excellent electrochemical performances for energy storage.
