The following is a part of a teaching innovation project of the University of Valladolid entitled Integration of non-destructive testing techniques on wood in innovative educational programs. As part of the teaching activities in subjects related to Wood Technology, we usually perform Laboratory practices using non-destructive testing. The aim of the proposal was to develop practical manuals and videos, for the student and the teacher, serve to support independent learning and teaching in blended mode, recreating practices on non-destructive testing techniques in wood. Videos have been produced using easily available equipment and open source software. This paper is a practical guide to facilitate the realization of educational videos: planning, equipment and materials used, video and audio editing software, work formats, final storage, etc... and the simplicities and difficulties encountered during the process.
