We study rumor spreading, in a social network which is constructed on the basis of the experimental data concerning interactions between humans, i.e. frequency and duration time of interpersonal interactions (contact survey conducted in Poland in the framework of POLYMOD). We generate several types of networks from ego-centric survey. We verify how temporal patterns change the effects of rumor process (real dynamics inhibits propagation, however real duration (weights) catalyzes propagation). The biggest difference are observed for small values of the spread factor. Durations of contacts seem to play first role in rumor dynamics. Moreover, rumor is more effective in static than dynamic network.
