This interdisciplinary review covers the updated information about the natural and the synthetic materials based on polymers or low molecular compounds, organic or inorganic ones, utilized by researchers to immobilize the most popular enzyme named CATALASE. Keeping in mind that the immobilized enzyme is intensively applied in various domains such as textile and food industries, treatment of the waste waters, cosmetics and pharmaceutical formulations to determine the hydrogen peroxide quantity or to remove the excess of H2O2, it will be useful for the upcoming selection and especially to design new specific and versatile carriers by specialists according with the final purpose and applications.
