Graphene-supported tungsten (W03) nanocomposite with different W03 loadings as synthesized using an impregnation method. The dispersion of graphene-W03 nanocomposite was confirmed using transmission electron microscopy. Then selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalysts that using the graphene-W03 nanocomposite was fabricated and their catalytic properties were evaluated. Due to its high specific surface area, graphene can nano disperse W03 and consequently improve its catalytic properties. The use of the graphene-W03 nanocomposite alleviates the adverse effect of NH3 has on the NO reduction by the catalyst. The addition of the graphene-W03 nanocomposite to the catalyst increases its NOx-removal efficiency to 80% over a temperature range of 150- 450(circle)C. Furthermore, the addition of the graphene-W03 nanocomposite decreased the S02 -S03 conversion to <1%. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
