In this work, we studied in detail the magnetocaloric properties of La0.67Pb0.33MnO3 according to the phenomenological model. Based on this model, a large magnetic entropy change has been discovered in La0.67Pb0.33MnO3 when subjected to low magnetic field variation of 0.05 T. Furthermore, the results of Co doping clearly indicate that the magnetocaloric effect in this system is tunable. Therefore, this tuning makes this ceramic series potentially practical for the improvement of multimaterial layered magnetocaloric regenerators.
