Four derivatives of fullerene C-60 with covalently bonded simple phenols were tested as inhibitors of oxidation of polyethylene at elevated temperatures 150-250 degrees C under non-isothermal conditions. Temperatures of the start of oxidation as well as the Arrhenius kinetic parameters of overall oxidation indicate a significant improvement of the oxidative stability of composites with fullerene derivatives.
