A subset of patients with oligometastatic prostate may be effectively treated with focal radiotherapy. Randomized prospective clinical trials are underway to determine the overall survival benefit of stereotactic radiation in treatment-naive oligometastatic prostate cancer. (C) 2017 Elsevier Inc.
