This work focused on efficient transmission and performance improvement of wireless communication systems using gray coded 16-QAM constellation as a pilot subcarrier. Here we proposed a gray coded 16-QAM constellation as pilot subcarrier for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing wireless system that enhanced the system performance in terms of symbol error rate. Computer simulation demonstrated the proposed method using least mean square estimator of wireless communication system.
