A series of BiQuinazolinones bearing either double or triple bonds in their lateral chains have been synthesized. These compounds were then subjected to substrate-controlled reactions such as Diels-Alder, epoxidation and Pauson-Khand reactions. The stereoselective outcome observed in these transformations is very promising for the future application of BiQuinazolinones as chiral auxiliaries. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
