In the present study, trace amount of rutoside in blood plasma and urine samples has been separated, preconcentrated and determined by a synthesized nanocomposite. Our suggested nanocomposite was prepared by immobilization of graphene oxide on SBA-15 (Santa Barbara) nanoparticles. The properties of nanostructure sorbent were characterized by TEM, SEM, elemental analysis map, EDX, TGA, elemental analysis CHNS, and BET techniques. The effective factors such as pH, adsorbent amount, extraction time, eluent type, ionic strength and sample volume were optimized for quantitative determination of rutoside. The linear range of the calibration graph was between 10 and 2000 ng mL(-1) with limit of detection (LOD) 4.2 ng mL(-1). Relative standard deviations (RSD) was 1.1%. Modified SBA-15 nanocomposites was used for measurement of the trace amounts of rutoside in the real samples such as blood plasma and urine with suitable fallouts. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V.
