Spray pyrolysis is a technique widely used for thin film deposition. Here Fe doped ZnO thin films with various levels of doping (0,1,5 & 10 at %) have been prepared by this technique and effect of Fe doping on properties of ZnO thin film have been studied. Scanning electron microscopy is used to characterize these films. SEM studies shows that films are polycrystalline in nature and have hexagonal wurtzite structure with lattice constants a=3.2490 A(0), b=3.2490 A(0) and c=5.2078 A(0) for pure ZnO thin film. The best crystalline structure is obtained at 10 wt % as observed by SEM. The particle morphology increases with increase in doping concentration;. PL spectrum of sample shows blue green emission.
