Recently there has been extensive research to address the shortcomings of the widely used phosphor coated Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) such as the slow recombination rate. In-situ Indium rich InGaN quantum dots (QD) was incorporated into multi-quantum wells (MQWs) to generate a broad emission spectrum. In this research, we aim to study the effect of surface plasmon coupling on QD emission by depositing a layer of Silver (Ag) Nanoparticles onto a surface of such MQWs sample. Ag nanoparticles has been shown to be effect in tuning the different intensity and response of these quantum dots incorporated MQWs sample
