Near ultra violet (NUV) excited and red-emitting LiSrPO4: Eu3+ phosphor for (White Light emitting diode) W-LED application with the varying concentration of Eu3+ was successfully prepared by solid state diffusion method. The structural confirmation of prepared phosphors was done by using X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and photoluminescence (PL) properties of LiSrPO4: Eu3+ showed emission corresponding to D-5(0) -> F-7(1) and D-5(0) -> F-7(2) transitions with the major peak at around 620 nm. The concentration quenching value Eu3+ ion in LiSrPO4: Eu3+ phosphor prepared by solid state diffusion method was observed at 0.03 mol. (C) 2016 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.
