With development of the fourth industrial revolution, the knowledge economy and digital economy continue to maintain rapid growth. The fourth industrial revolution comes quietly and rapidly, as a significant participant country, higher demands are placed for innovative talents in China. So research on innovative talents under the fourth industrial revolution has drawn increasing attention. This paper firstly describes the conception and characteristics of the fourth industrial revolution, and related review of the role of innovative talents. From perspectives of government, enterprises, universities and research institutes, the paper summarizes countermeasures for cultivating and assembling innovative talents based on the existing research of scholars. At last, the paper proposes related suggestions for cultivating innovative talents in the future combined with characteristics of the fourth industrial revolution.
