In this paper, we apply Anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole solution of the Einstein-aether theory to the study of the holographic superconductor and show that the AdS black hole solution can be rewritten in some very simple forms, from which it is easy to identify the locations of various killing horizons. Then, we investigate the different effects of these horizons on the holographic superconductor.
