We present two novel porphyrin (Porp)-based conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs; Porp-TPE-CMP and Porp-Py-CMP), formed via an FeCl3-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction between pyrrole and aromatic aldehyde. The resultant CMPs exhibited high CO2 selectivity compared with N-2 and CH4, and good capacity for organic vapors.
