Deep eutectic solvents (DESs), as a new type of green solvents, have recently been getting a great deal of interest in many areas of science and technology. In this minireview, we briefly discuss the analytical applications of DESs published during the past five years. We focus mainly on various DES-based (micro)extraction procedures.
