The photosensitivity of Ag3PO4 seriously affects the photocatalytic activity, thus it is of great importance for settling the harsh drawback. In this work, 3D flower-like carbon microspheres (FCMs) prepared have been applied to modify Ag3PO4 to improve the structural stability and the photocatalytic property. Nanoscale Ag3PO4 with 20-30 nm can be uniformly distributed on the surface of modified-FCMs. Compared with Ag3PO4 and FCM/Ag3PO4, modified-FCM/Ag3PO4 shows favourable reusability, adsorptive ability and enhanced photocatalytic performance for the degradation of chloramphenicol. In addition, h(+) and center dot O2- radicals play a major role in the photocatalytic process. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
