Nickel-doped FeS2 (Fe1-xNixS2) nanoparticles were successfully synthesized via one-step hydrothermal route, which could serve as the active materials for non-enzymatic glucose detection. The Nickel-doped FeS2 (Fe0.8Ni0.2S2, Fe0.7Ni0.3S2) modified electrode exhibited a wide linear range of 2-12, 0.1-10 mM and a better sensitivity of 60.04, 240.13 mu A mM(-1) cm(-2), respectively.
