In recent decades, there has been growing concern about protecting the environment through all possible methods, and the area concerned is that of constructions because they are the largest energy consumer and the largest producer of waste. In this context, the present paper proposes new thermal insulation materials based on natural fibers, sheep wool and hemp, which are renewable resources, with increased availability at national level. The thermal characteristics of the composite materials were followed the aim being to obtain materials with thermal insulation properties superior to those existing on the market and consequently to increase the energy efficiency of the buildings.
