Background A compact C-14 AMS system extended for Be-10 and Al-26 (XCAMS) was installed at Tianjin University in October 2017. As an initial testing result, a detection limit of 4.4 x 10(-16) for C-14/C-12, 3.8 x 10(-15) for Be-10/Be-9 and 6.9 x 10(-15) for Al-26/Al-27 was achieved, respectively. Method The system was gradually smoothed and optimized based on a series of standard, blank and real samples measurement. Results The detection limit was down to 4.0 x 10(-16) for C-14/C-12, 2.2 x 10(-15) for Be-10/Be-9 and 5.6 x 10(-15) for Al-26/Al-27, respectively. More than one thousand samples of C-14, Be-10 and Al-26 have been successfully measured and analyzed. Conclusion The cosmogenic multi-nuclide of C-14, Be-10 and Al-26 AMS has been available for studies in archaeology, Earth science and environmental science, and some significant jobs still need to be carried out in the near future.
