The present research paper deals with the generation of micro-channel utilizing laser micro-milling process on a flat zirconia (ZrO2) ceramics by using pulsed fiber laser system. Laser power, pulse frequency, laser scanning speed, transverse feed and number of pass are considered as the process variables for performing the present experiment. Micro-channel width and depth are considered as the responses of fiber laser micro-channel milling operation. For in-depth analysis of the process parameters, one parameter is varied at a time and other parameters are kept as constants to obtain the desired dimensions of the micro-channel at various parametric settings. Experimental result shows that process variables have a great influence on the considered response parameters. The maximum micro-channel width and depth which are achieved as 395.28 mu m and 373.15 mu m respectively at parametric settings of average power of 10 W, pulse frequency of 65 kHz, scanning speed of 7 mm/s, number of pass of 5 and transverse feed of 0.009 mm.
