Austenitic Stainless-Steel grade 316L is one among the huge ASS grades. It is essential composite used in various hightemperatures and below zero applications. In the present examination the mechanical properties, ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and strain hardening exponent are assessed at below zero. The procedure parameters, temperature, orientation and velocity assume a key job in choosing these properties, in this way in the present examination temperature running (0, - 25, - and 50) degrees C, orientation (0, 45, 90) degrees to the velocity (3, 5, 7) mm/min were picked. The L9 symmetrical exhibit dependent on structure of investigations was utilized to direct tests. Taguchi robust design was utilized to know the level of impact of each procedure parameter on individual execution trademark and furthermore to locate the ideal condition for strain hardening component and ultimate tensile strength for the improvement of mechanical conduct of ASS 316L. it was watched for both the cases the ideal blend at level 3 of Temperature, level 1 at orientation and level 1 at velocity. From the ANOVA, it is seen that for strain hardening component and ultimate tensile strength, the temperature is most affecting parameter contrasted with orientation and velocity.
