We have investigated the structural, electric and magnetic properties of composites of antiferromagnetic-ferroelectric BiFeO3 (BFO) and quantum para-electric SrTiO3 (STO) perovskite oxides. The composites (1-x)BFO-xSTO, with x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 have been prepared employing the conventional solid state reaction method. The samples were characterised by XRD, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), PE loop tracer, JE, VSM, dielectric measurements. The XRD patterns confirm the phase formation and has led to calculate the structural parameters. The FTIR spectra have been used for determining the Fe-O bond length. The PE and MH loops enable us to determine electric and magnetic hysteresis respectively. The x = 0.2 samples shows the finest ferromagnetism and the x = 0.4 sample shows the optimal ferroelectricity at room temperature. These composites show ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties at room temperate, implying the multiferroic nature.
