In this paper, the problem of the sampled-data control for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy singularly perturbed systems (SPSs) with actuator saturation is considered. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, a design method of H-infinity sampled-data controller for T-S fuzzy SPSs with actuator saturation is proposed. Then, a convex optimization problem is formulated to maximize the disturbance tolerance ability. For the case that the systems are not subject to disturbances, the proposed design method is specialized to solve the problems of the asymptotical stabilization and optimization of the basin of attraction. Finally, numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the merits of the obtained results.
