In the present study we report the dielectric behavior of Titania Tenorite (TiO2/CuO) nanocomposites having high dielectric constant prepared by coupling TiO2 (Titania) with CuO (Tenorite) using cost effective co-precipitation method. The behavior of two nanocomposites with different constituent concentrations was analyzed separately. The dielectric constant of the nanocomposite increases compared to that of TiO2 nanoparticles. Nanocomposite with increased copper content has a room temperature dielectric constant of the order of 10(3) at low frequency region. The impedance spectral analysis of both nanocomposites shows a non- Debye nature. These cost effective metal oxide nanocomposites with high dielectric constant are of worth attention for their observed dielectric properties.
