This contribution is devoted to the periodic homogenization of a degenerate parabolic system arising from the hygro-thermo-chemical processes in early age concrete. Concrete is considered as porous material exhibiting periodic spatial oscillations. Under the real assumptions on transport coefficients, we present the homogenized equations (as the oscillation period vanishes) based on the two-scale convergence theory and demonstrate some preliminary numerical experiments.
