This article presents a novel random number generation algorithm, called CHAOSA, which is based on Ikeda maps and XOR function. The novel system is realized by the Arduino microcontroller. The quality of output sequence is evaluated by key space analysis and ENT, DIEHARD, and NIST test packages. The results show excellent performance of the proposed generator.
