A monostatic/bistatic interferometric radar for monitoring/testing slander structures (like telecommunications towers, wind turbine towers, bell-towers, minarets, obelisks...) is presented. It has been tested on the real case of a telecommunication towers in Florence, Italy mechanically excited by a slight wind. The radar has been able to detect the displacement vector of several points along its height and even the axis of symmetry of the structure. This is an important parameter for assessing the dynamic response of the structure.
