In the present study, the formation of sulfur nano sheets on the surface of positively charged carbon nano fiber (CNF) from Na2S3 precursor was investigated, and a two-step mechanism for this reaction was proposed for the first time. An S-CNF-solid electrolyte composite was successfully prepared and employed in an all-solid-state Li-S cell. Full sulfur capacity was obtained when the cell was cycled at 0.1C (0.177 mA cm(-2)), and a sulfur capacity of similar to 600 mA h g(-1)s was maintained at IC (1.77 mA cm(-2)).
