The current study reveals the effect of nanoparticle additives on a diesel engine which gives less emission and best performance. In this study, the nanoparticles were analysis and blended with biodiesel-diesel blends in 15-20 min using ultrasonicator which agitate the particle and make the stability of the blends The fuel blends were prepared with Titanium oxide nano particles/diesel/biodiesel. The test fuels were diesel (D100), biodiesel (B100), B30, B30 + TiO2, (25 ppm, 50 ppm, 75 ppm, 100 ppm) respectively. The experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of titanium oxide (TiO2) on the two-cylinder diesel engine at different load conditions. It is observed with the addition of nanoparticles in a diesel engine which reduces emission. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
